Bike bits and other worldly vision win sculptures place in top show

AN experiment with old bike parts and a vision of another world won former Chilton St James School students Lisa Basford and Tania Vercoelen, a chance to showcase their work in a top travelling art exhibition. The annual Top Art show, run by the NZ Qualifications Authority, exhibits work produced by secondary school students who achieved excellence for their visual arts NCEA Level 3 assessment, and tours New Zealand in two parts, one in the North Island and the other in the South Island.
